Spring has sprung - oops missed it.
Spring this year seems to be a laid back, cynical sort of affair. Even the weather just....can't be....arsed. It's managed some daffys, a sprinkling of white blossom and some greenery and then seems to have decided that is all too much effort and has lapsed into some moody slushy snow instead. It's Nature's version of the teenage strop.
It's been a shitty few days for lots of reasons though, not least the weather. My somewhat cryptic post yesterday alluded mainly to the troubles I've been having in my domestic arrangements. It continues to amaze me how much power one person can wield when essentially they are squatting illegally in the house. But let's leave that there. I'm feeling resilient today.
While out wombling on the web for easter pics for this post I came across quite a mix of different attitudes towards this time of year, from religious fervour to bizarre business advertising. My runners up were this and a quite belligerent this, but my winner comes from another woman's blog and is the pic at the top of my post.
I'm not sure what her motives were for using the pic, but the faintly annoyed, downright suspicious and adult look on the kid's face is priceless for me. I'm just glad that my parents never had a blog.
